![]() ![]() Google only shows popular results that common people need to solve their problems asked on these forums. ![]() I wasn't expecting to get help from here if I couldn't do it myself. I don't understand the logic behind this but hey. "C:\Document and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\\Cache"Īpparently they're not exact doubles and the firefox folder in ""C:\Document and Settings\\Application Data\" and the firefox folder in "C:\Document and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\" makes a huge difference. "C:\Document and Settings\\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\\Cache" I tried really hard to think where I found out about the cache directory before and it hit me and thru my searching and findings I've discovered that I've been doing it wrong the whole time. FLV files on the site like everyone else does. So if I wanted to get an ".FLV" file from "about:cache" I'd just get the the ".SWF" file that plays. That never helped me because there's no way to organize it or view it well and flexibly like in Windows and it doesn't seem to display all of the real cache just the obvious things. Thanks but I've googled that as well and been there and it didn't tell me the directory it just says type "about:cache" in your browser. so I'd rather have a familiar setup by viewing Firefox cache on Windows XP. ![]() I was thinking if I should post this here or in the Firefox section but I really wanna ask here cause I don't wanna be told to do about:cache cause honestly I don't like how that's setup it's hard to find stuff and I can't arrange files by size etc. I'm using Firefox version 3.5.5 and Windows XP Service Pack 3 Should I downgrade to an earlier version of Firefox where it did make a folder I could browse my cache in on Windows XP? This is the cache folder."Īm I having trouble finding the Firefox cache directory on Windows XP?Īm I looking for Firefox cache folder in the wrong directories?ĭid Mozilla change Firefox cache folder directory on Windows XP? Then I choose one of the 2 profiles I got in there and search thru all the folders but can't find anything that jumps out and says "This is it. "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" but I either forgot the directory or it doesn't exist anymore? I remember having a cache folder for Firefox on Windows XP that I used to grab cache out of like. ![]()
